Proceeds t benefit the Gahanna Middle School West PTO and Multiple Sclerosis

Here is the story:  Gahanna Middle School West, as do almost all schools, has a PTO (parent – teacher organization.)  Our organization works very hard to promote excellence through volunteering time, energy, money, etc...  Unfortunately, we are limited in regards to the amount of money we can raise with the typical fundraising activities.   Thus we want to have a fundraiser that will promote the West side of Gahanna, and offer an opportunity to showcase our school, our students, and most importantly, allow for some wonderful relationships to be established. In addition to raising money for our school PTO organization we are also making a considerable contribution to help others, this year it will be to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Our students have been so giving of their time and talents throughout the year. We have through our Character Education initiative; donated food to the homeless shelter (over 1500 sandwiches were made and delivered) at Thanksgiving, as well as delivering 55 blankets that were made by students to the Ronald McDonald house prior to the holidays. Contributions and materials were made and donated to the Capital Area humane society as well as countless other activities…  Most importantly, we have focused our efforts on character traits that will promote positive action by our young people.
