Welcome to the season finale of the Mideast Multi-Sport Series. The Great Ohioan Triathlon & Duathlon is staged at the beautiful Delaware State Park and features both on and off road running along the “Mink Trail”.  This event also features a two-lap bike course along Route 23! Very unique!

USA TRIATHLON SANCTIONED
We are pleased to announce that the Mideast Multi-Sport Series is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.  All rules and regulations set forth by the national office will be enforced on race day.  Entrants must show proof of membership at packet pick-up.  Membership is offered two (2) ways: 1. ) You may apply for an annual USAT membership ($30) prior to the race by calling USA Triathlon at (719) 597-9090 or by signing-up on-line at www.usatriathlon.org. *NOTE: Applying for an annual membership prior to the event takes 3-4 weeks for processing, so think ahead.  2.) You may apply for a one-day event permit for $10.00.  This fee will be added to your entry fee and forwarded to the national office.  *Note: Entries are nontransferable.

ABOUT THE RACE:

TRIATHLON: Swim .4 Miles - Bike 15 Miles - Run 5K
DUATHLON: Run 2 miles - Bike 15 Miles - Run 5K

SWIM/RUN: The triathlon swim is a short and fast .4 mile course that follows the shoreline of Turkeyfoot Lake. The duathlon 2 mile run is a straight one mile "out and back".

BIKE:Following the swim and duathlon run #1all participants will enter the transition area for a bike race that includes TWO laps along Route 23 in Delaware. (honor system)

RUN 5K:   The final run includes about a 1.5 mile on-road surface and a 1.5 mile nature run on the "Mink Trail". A detailed map of the course can be viewed at www.ultrafit-usa.com.

RACE DIVISIONS
AGE GROUP: 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
RELAY (MEN/WOMEN/MIXED): A Triathlon Team can consist of three members: Swimmer, Cyclist, Runner. The Duathlon Team consists of two members: Runner and Cyclist. TEAMS MUST MAIL IN THE PRINTABLE ENTRY FORM WITH SIGNED WAIVERS.
CLYDESDALE/ATHENA: For larger framed athletes meeting the following weight requirements (190lbs./men & 150lbs./women).

AWARDS
AGE GROUP/CLYDESDALE/ATHENA: Top 3 per division.     RELAY: Top 3 teams per each relay division. Awards are based on pre-registration numbers on the Wednesday before the event and will be issued accoring to your age on RACE DAY.

CHIP TIMING
Each event will use the chip timing system for accurate and immediate results.

NO TRANSFER POLICY IS STRICLY ENFORCED. If you can not make the race please notify the office for entry into next year's race.

RACE RESULTS
Race results for each event will be posted on our site at www.ultrafit-usa.com following the event.

RACE PACKETS: Your race packet will include a quality “technical” race-shirt with the official race logo, EAS Sports Nutritional supplement, finish line food and beverage.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP: 1) Mail in this entry form to ULTRAFIT-USA, PO BOX 629, HILLIARD, OHIO 43026 2) Register online at www.ultrafit-usa.com until August 29th at 12:00pm. 3) Register at Tri-Tech MultiSport  located at 6185 N Huntley Rd (614-846-1516) beginning September 4th thru September 11th. Hours: Monday through Friday 11-7pm Sat 10-6pm. Closed Sunday. 4) Register on Race Day starting at 6:30am. PHOTO ID REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO PICK-UP THEIR OWN PACKET (NO FRIENDS....SORRY!) NO CREDIT CARDS PLEASE!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP: Delaware State Park beginning at 6:30am.

DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE: Delaware State Park is a 30 minute drive from downtown Columbus on Route 23 and about a 10-15 minute drive from the City of Delaware. Route 23 is easily accessed from the I-270 north outerbelt.
